About us and our Ministry

The founders of Kunz Ministries are Rev. Jeffrey and Melissa Kunz. Rev. Jeffrey Kunz was born in the Los Angeles area, his wife Melissa Kunz was born in Tulsa Oklahoma. They minister on things like anger management, addiction ,walking in love from a Christian perspective and the  Christian family home. They received their education at Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow Oklahoma. God has delivered Pastor Jeffrey and Melissa from more then ten years of drug addiction and violence. They travel worldwide speaking in the local churches on these subjects and others as well.

They minister on how God has delivered them out of years of drug addiction and violence and what the Bible has to say on these subjects. God has delivered them from everything imaginable. They have learned from experience that people are more receptive to someone who has overcome what they themselves are going through. They feel that if you can just tell the people in these situations that there is a way of overcoming anything with help from Jesus Christ! With God you will succeed in breaking free and overcoming whatever it is that you are going through.

Rev Jeffrey, at 24, and Melissa Kunz, at 16, got married on May 16th, 1994 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. They had given their lives to Jesus at a young age, but both had rebelled as teenagers. They  drank alcohol, disobeyed authority and didn't live for God. Starting late in high school Pastor Jeffrey started a relationship. Out of that relationship, he fathered his first two sons. That relationship ended soon after the birth of his second son. Melissa Kunz  got pregnant at the very young age of 14 with her first son. Melissa left the small town she got pregnant in and returned to her birth town, Tulsa O.K. There she  met Jeffrey then 24 and got married just a short time after her 16th birthday. They had only knew each other a little over a couple of months when they were married. Their marriage started off with lies, abuse, drugs and unfaithfulness. The first 8-10 years were pure hell, literally! By the time Melissa Kunz was 23, she was heavily into drugs. Jeff soon joined in the drug use and his abuse and violence escalated. Anyone who knew them would say they were hopeless. Christian family members began to pray for them and stand in faith for their lives to change and in the year of 2002, they started to listen to God's voice. Today they are drug free!!!! There is no violence in their marriage and God has been restoring all that the devil tried to destroy!!! It wasn’t easy but with God anything is possible. Glory to God!!! More can be found in the book Deliverance written by Jeffrey Kunz.

The Scriptural Purpose For Kunz Ministries

  1. 1.To fulfill the Great Commission of Christ:
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (NIV) Matthew 28:19-20

  2. 2.To Show Men That God Has Set Them Free:
"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in?  And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?  And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?  And how can they preach unless they are sent?  As it is written, 'How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!' " (NIV) Romans 10:13-15

  3. 3.To minister to the totality of human need:
The Parable of the Good Samaritan - Luke 1

  4. 4.To Feed Who God Says To Feed, And Shelter Who God Says To Shelter: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.' 37 Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?' 40 And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.'  (KJV) Matt 25:35-40
